Music and singing have always been a part of my life, thanks to my beloved parents!
My mom was a professional singer; my dad was an electronics engineer as well as my mom's music manager.
My mom taught me the art of singing; I inherited her vocal talent and for that, and so much more, I am forever grateful.
I studied classical piano and received my B.A. in Music Education from California State University, Fullerton.
But I have always preferred singing over playing the piano because singing comes more naturally to me.
And it's easier, too! :-)
My favorite music genres include Big Band tunes, the great American standards, and jazz.
My latest CD, "Love for Christmas," was released in November 2008.
This CD has extra special meaning to me: I recorded it in honor of and continued love for my beloved parents.
I still miss them very much.

Kudos go to my music arranger and producer, Tim Hayden of Nashville, and to my recording engineer, Craig Long of Paradise Studios - they know how to make me sound good. :-) :-)

I'm currently working on a new CD that will feature songs from the 1930s and 1940s, my favorite music era.
